As part of the Cable Campaign at the Loeries Fontein Wind Farm by Our Valued Client, we are looking for a skilled Wind Turbine Service Technicians to join our team. 

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Individuals to support our team on the Cable Campaign at the Loeries Fontein Wind Farm. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining and servicing wind turbines, ensuring that all cabling systems operate efficiently and safely. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-impact project in the renewable energy industry. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbine systems, focusing on cabling and electrical components. 
• Conduct inspections and testing of turbine cables to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. 
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues related to wind turbine operations. 
• Work at heights to service turbine components, including cabling systems, blades, nacelles, and towers. 
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, service reports, and system logs. 
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment. 
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of the Cable Campaign. 

Qualifications: 

• Relevant technical qualification advantageous (e.g., electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics). 

• Experience in wind turbine maintenance, specifically in cabling and electrical systems, is highly desirable. 
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. 
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. 
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 
• Commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations. 
• Strong communication and teamwork skills. 
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to the Loeries Fontein site. 
• Candidates with no prior experience are encouraged to apply
